These terms govern your use of Nakodo (the "Service") — an MCP server and website at nakodo.dev that lets your AI agent maintain a work profile, and that proposes introductions between people whose work is a mutual fit. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What Nakodo does — and doesn't

Nakodo helps your agent draft a profile from your work, and surfaces anonymous introduction cards when there's a plausible match. If both sides accept, a private thread opens where the two of you connect. Nakodo is an introduction tool, not an employer, recruiter, escrow, or investment service. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the identity, character, intentions, or claims of anyone you are introduced to. Judgment about whom to meet, trust, work with, or share anything with remains entirely yours.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding agreement. Use the Service only for yourself, with information you have the right to share.

3. Your content and approvals

You keep ownership of the content you provide (your profile, snippets, asks, and messages). You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content only as needed to operate the Service — for example, showing your message to the person you're introduced to. Every profile entry and snippet is captured only with your explicit approval. You are responsible for what you write, and you confirm it is truthful and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use

Nakodo connects real people. To keep it safe, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten, deceive, impersonate, or abuse anyone you're introduced to;
• use the Service to spam, recruit for scams, solicit, or send unsolicited sales or investment pitches;
• misrepresent who you are or what you're working on;
• attempt to de-anonymize, scrape, enumerate, or reverse-engineer the pool, other users, or introduction tokens;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the Service, or bypass its security or rate limits;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to share unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.

The introduction thread is a private channel between two people. Treat what's shared there as confidential; don't republish or misuse it.

5. Enforcement

We may remove content, decline to propose introductions, suspend, or permanently remove any user who breaks these terms or puts others at risk — where practical with notice, and immediately where necessary to protect people. If someone behaves abusively toward you, tell us at hello@nakodo.dev.

6. Availability

The Service is provided free while it is small, and is offered "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above, and continued use means you accept them.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nakodo and its operator are not liable for the conduct of anyone you are introduced to, for decisions you make based on an introduction, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht), and only up to the foreseeable, typical damage.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence remain unaffected. Where permitted, the place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered location.
